Preparing CAD File for PVFARM Import
Purpose: - this article serves as the single source of truth for preparing CAD files for PVFARM import. It defines the required naming, geometry standards, layers, scale and decision rules to ensure consistent and reliable imports
Quick Decision Flow
1) No Plugin? = Follow Manual CAD Input Standards
2) Plugin Available? = Follow PVFARM Plugin Command Standards
3) Plugin missing some elements? = Use PVFARM Plugin Command Standards where supported + Manual CAD Input Standards for the rest
Note: All paths produce the same export result
Installing the Plug-in
-follow the official installation guide: Installing the plugin
-verify after installation:
- PVFARM toolbar/menu is visible in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Commands can be typed in the command line (e.g. CreateTracker), if it works you have successfully installed the plug-in
