How to upload a PV Module or Inverter as a PAN/OND file

There are two methods to add modules and inverters to the catalog.  Adding this equipment can happen either directly via the catalog, or via the AI import.

Option 1: Add equipment directly to the catalog.

1. Go to the Catalog View: View → Catalog

2. Open the burger menu

    

   

1. Select ‘Upload files’
   ​

   

    

2. Browse a PAN file for a PV Module or an OND file for an inverter and open it
   ​

   

3. Observe the new item in the Catalog
   ​

   

4. Dive into unique properties and set up the price if needed
   ​

   

5. Save the price updates

   

1. Save the Catalog updates
   It creates a new Catalog version and makes it available for all your projects.

    

Option 2: Use the AI import to add equipment.

When working with the AI import feature the equipment will be added in the import area.  When working with this method the equipment will be added directly to the project assets.  If you would like to share them to your catalog ensure that you click the three dots next to the item that was added and save to catalog.

To access the AI import just load your support document (such as pdf cut sheets) directly to the import window
